Welcome to my website.

For openers, you should know I’ve worked as a nurseryman, a dredger, a newspaper reporter, a ghostwriter, an editor, an associate-publisher, a media consultant, never as a waiter in the food-service industry, and lately as a college instructor and record producer.

Mostly, though, I’ve worked as a freelance writer for such publications as TV Guide, Men’s Health, Los Angeles Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, Men’s Edge, Advertising Age, and Men’s Fitness. I’ve also authored or co-authored several nonfiction books for major publishing companies, including Warner Books, Rodale Press, and Barron’s; several children’s books in non-fiction library market; and one self-published novella. My last book, Built for Sex (Rodale Press), came out in December 2006. My next book with NFL legend Tiki Barber (Gotham Books) comes out end of Summer 2008.

I recently returned from leading a group of 25 college students on a Study Abroad to Austria, Germany, and Italy. Extraordinary experience.
